A day spent at Area 27, a private track near Oliver, British Columbia. The motivation for going there that day was to photograph the Formula 3 cars belonging to Relentless Motorsport out of Vancouver that were there testing for two days. They are driven by Mitch Egner and Andrew Dobbie.

They welcomed the people into their home on wheels and often provided free meals and medical care, as well as the only source of entertainment around often in the form of a bingo. Mrs. Sloman helped the women by writing letters and sending orders to Eatons and Simpsons. She taught sewing and dressmaking and talked to them about hygiene and childcare. The Slomans became explainers and interpreters of the Canadian way of life.
More than 40 posters were exposed in an area placed alongside the coffee break and the virtual presentations areas.
During our November 2007 trip to Kentucky, we stopped at this rest area in the Ozarks. Unfortunately, the lack of rain made the fall colors rather lackluster.

This flower signals the presence of moisture on this slope; it is accompanied by other actual goldenrods, thoroughworts, narrowleaf sunflowers, and blazing stars. That also looks like a rayless sunflower sticking up in front.
