Number 37 of just 99, this AR1 was sold for $379,500 in January off 2017 by RM Sotheby's.

A great egret preparing a large crawfish for lunch. I got to spend some time observing bird behavior on my trip to Florida last week. This egret was hunting in Corkscrew Swamp with a group of white ibis. It was interesting to watch how they dealt with these large crawfish. They would grab them by the claws and shake them to remove the claws. Then they did the same with the remaining legs. Then a little softening up with the beak and down the hatch! Amazing eye intensity in these effective predators. The last thing I would want to see if I were a crawfish.
