A nice shot of the unmodified Crewe Station and and an unsung workhorse of the LMS Class 304 no 042. These units were built in 1960 and spent their time working services between Euston Manchester and Liverpool. The unit is standing in front of the APT test train which was hauled by the prototype HST power car.

Apt est une commune française, sous-préfecture du département de Vaucluse, dans la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA).

Apt est construite dans la vallée du Calavon, entre le massif du Luberon (au sud) et les monts de Vaucluse (au nord). La ville est située sur l'ancienne voie Domitienne. Son centre-ville, groupé autour de la cathédrale Sainte-Anne, occupait jadis une île.

I haven't shared a flower photo in a while, so here is a blue-and-black salvia, which has been growing in a pot on my driveway for years. It's very soon going to be time to take all those pots into the garage for the winter.
