Toledo, Spain. I love the balcony windows throughout Spain. The flower pots are beautiful and reflect the personalty of the residents.
I discovered this sad, little green guy on my photo walk in Orillia last weekend. I thought he deserved a photo. It’s Thanksgiving weekend in Canada. I wish my Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving! I wish all my Flickr friends a Happy Thanksgiving if they would like that. ;)🍁
There is always so much to be thankful for. Here on Flickr I am grateful for all of you! I’ve learned a lot about photography since joining Flickr, and being part of a supportive community is invaluable. I’m deeply grateful for your presence here.

Another acquired photo; this is labelled as being near Cholsey and taken during APT-E speed trials on the GWML on 16 August 1975. It appears to be on the up main and I am therefore guessing that the photo was taken from the overbridge at the London end of the station. The small driver's window is obvious! I never saw the APT-E during its test period.

Almost the end of the APTs career as a passenger carrying train. Seen slinking through Crewe, this was the only time I managed a good shot of an APT doing something useful.

26030 & a 'lecky look on enviously as the future arrives in the platform. Does it still always rain in Carlisle?
I like these little rundown blocks. Also someone probably misspelled the intended name. Looks abandoned but the snow is shovelled so who knows?
Yes, my first ever photo featuring the APT. The marketing people for the station rebuild show it calling here on the top right of the billboard.
Maybe they know something we don't?
The cost of the project is in excess of £9 million, to re-introduce APT would add a tidy sum to that!
A loco failure near Shaftholme Junction required a rescue loco for this service which passed us running two hours late.

The sign says renting newly remodelled 1 or 2 bedroom apartments, but they ain't, even though some of the windows look new. This property, which has a minor historical designation, was damaged in a fire that brought down the apartment block that was on the left. It is now on the list of damaged, derelict buildings that the city has identified for demolition.
