Theme: The Surface - Trivecta, ft. Roniit
The full saying is, “Api biaew! Aehuew djebetew aedew!” The hieroglyphs state the same saying on the left and the right. I chose to mirror it for artistic purposes. Also, Trivecta's song, The Surface is something like the theme song for the Harmakhis story. The concept being that there is something ready to surface that will change the world the city of Harmakhis is in, called Panterrea, which will shake it to its core.
The saying in the hieroglyphs is the battle cry of the Pakeret Mehuetey, the Northern Frontier Patrol, and heard over the intercoms of the apeyew (aircraft) of the pedjet aeshew (troop of pilots/squadron) on duty as they take flight for the designated battlefield. In this story, the main characters are part of a squadron called the Jahi Gahiji Minkha (JGM - Dignified Hunters of Justice).
When they hear it called out, “Api biaew! Aehuew djebetew aedew!” They know they are thus sent to fly into the heavens and to destroy the enemy targets. This call is first stated in Chapter 7 of a book I'm writing called Harmakhis as intro to a dog fight between the JGM and the Nirgalian enemy forces.

The western honey bee or European honey bee (Apis mellifera) is the most common of the 7–12 species of honey bees worldwide. The genus name Apis is Latin for "bee", and mellifera is the Latin for "honey-bearing" or "honey carrying", referring to the species' production of honey..Like all honey bee species, the western honey bee is eusocial, creating colonies with a single fertile female (or "queen"), many normally non-reproductive females or "workers", and a small proportion of fertile males or "drones". Individual colonies can house tens of thousands of bees. Colony activities are organized by complex communication between individuals, through both pheromones and the dance language.

Hardly any wildlife about for me to take a photo of so I decided I would look for insects. The butterflies had disappeared as soon the wind became stronger and more blustery but this bee was active in a sheltered corner.
