Shanghai! We stayed with my dad, walked all over the city, met up with my friend Jeff, and saw the Shanghai Botanical Garden, where my dad works.
A slightly grown-up real estate-y shot of the Air Apartments on Greenhill Road, Adelaide. Lady with the yellow Porsche thought I was a bit strange and perhaps she was right.
My guidebook (heh, yes, I bought a guidebook... I wanted to read about what Taiwan is like from a different point of view) says that Taiwan is the second most densely-populated nation in the world (Bangladesh is first). Apartment living is the norm.
Near our hotel we took this shot of a nearby Russian apartment building. We were told that these were actually some of the best in St. Petersburg, Russia.
During the Soviet- era, apartment buildings were built for Kabul residents. Some of these managed to survive the brutal civil war which leveled much of Kabul. I was in one of these apartments - it was nice, very European. The quality was much better than what is being constructed today.
I've often wondered if people lived here. I guess they do....garbage cans in front...furniture & grill on deck. This is along Rt 356 in Apollo.

We visit Taipei for a weekend, and drop me off for my two weeks of the internship at the office in Taipei. It was a great time!
The Axiom at Capitol Yards luxury apartments, at 100 I Street SE, near the National's ballpark. The fourth floor of the Axiom was (in part) host to the Luck of the Draw art exhibit, a joint project of Artomatic and the Pink Line Project. I was there mostly to see the photography exhibit that was organized by Ten Miles Square.

The Normandie Apartments building is one of the few remaining historical buildings from Shanghai's colonial times (apart from the Bund row). Completed in 1924 The building is under "Heritage Architecture" protection and can not be touched for redevelopment. Located on Central Huaihai Road No. 1836-1858, corner of Wukang Road, just on the borderline of the Changning and Xuhui districts.(淮海中路武康路口,地址: 淮海中路1836-1858号)
