Cliff Swallows zoom around in intricate aerial patterns to catch insects on the wing. When feeding in flocks with other species of swallows, they often stay higher in the air. They build mud nests in colonies on cliff ledges or under bridges, eaves, and culverts. Courtesy: All About Birds.Org

30 years ago I lived in a garden apartment in Forestville, MD (note the lovely pink stove!). This apartment was swarming with cockroaches; I'm surprised that there are none to be seen in this photo! At the time, I was a 30 year old Lieutenant, stationed at the Naval Communication Unit, Washington. Amazingly, I still have some of the articles seen in the kitchen, including the small cutting board on the right, and the saucepan seen on the right rear burner.

My apartment in upstairs in the building with the small brown awning, with the open window. Right next door to the Hardware store. The street normally isn't this busy, but it was a car show day.
My hair salon is right next door, so is my pharmacy and my bank.
Most of the time I don't even move my car during the week.

The Underwater Apartment (really a skybox) is, in the rp at the compound, situated several dozen meters below the Main House, with windows that look out under the sea. Though with a spartan interior, within the rp, it serves as a very high security location, though a pleasant one. Of screen to the right is a bath and shower, while the other side of the room (below in the picture) there is a raised kitchen and the access door to the rest of the facility.
