Le dôme au centre tout au fond, c'est le pic du midi de Bigorre (merci à Gaspard Beaumont),. 156 km à vol d'oiseau, visible grâce à la pureté de l'air ce soir là je suppose.
Brackley is a delightful small market town in the south of Northamptonshire. Its market was originally based on wool and lace. Brackley is situated on strategic routes between London, Birmingham and the Midlands, and between Cambridge and Oxford. The charming former town hall in Brackley (pictured centre) dates from the Queen Anne period, having been built by the 4th Earl of Bridgwater in 1706. The weekly market is held in front of the building. In recent years the old town hall has undergone a major refurbishment, and I am pleased to say that an ugly metal fire escape has been removed from the outside of the building, with suitable improvements made inside.
This photo of a Queen Anne's Lace blossom beginning to open reminds me of an adolescent teenager. It’s beginning to develop it’s own unique identity and character. It is undergoing some significant physical metamorphosis and it appears to have some wild hair growing out around it’s (blossom) ‘head’.
Likewise, it’s kind of cute, but teenagers can be like a weed too, sometimes you really don’t want too many of them around. Granted, my mind is drifting a bit here, but photographing this blossom under full sun on a hot day may have influenced this silly interpretation. 😄

These dramatic rock formations are named after a well known local water colour artist, Sarah Anne Fogg. This image was taken during the setting sun illuminating the rocks and the button grass so prolific in this part of northwestern Tasmania. Recent rains had not yet dried up the path leading deeper into the rocks. Image taken whilst on Cam Blake photography tour of the Tarkine area.

Canyon Sainte-Anne is a spectacular, steep-sided gorge, carved by the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord River for 1.2 billion years, is located 6 km east of Beaupré, Quebec, Canada. The river drops over a 74 m (243 ft) waterfall within the canyon (taller than Niagara Falls). It offers many activities, such as the Air Canyon zip line, several lookouts and observation points, trails, and three suspended bridges to allow visitors to discover the beauty of the canyon step-by-step. People also discover the giant potholes and waterfalls of the mini canyon.

La rivière tombe sur une chute d'eau de 74 m (243 pi) à l'intérieur du canyon (plus haute que celle du Niagara). Il offre de nombreuses activités, telles que la tyrolienne Air Canyon, des belvédères et plusieurs points d'observation, des sentiers et trois passerelles suspendues pour permettre aux visiteurs de découvrir la beauté du canyon étape par étape. Les gens découvrent aussi les marmites de géants et les cascades du mini-canyon. C'est vraiment un paysage à couper le souffle.
