It was raining, it was raining, it was a bit windy. Is not the very best quality - high iso - the anmone wich was taken by small Wind. But I this flower (not this photo) is so beautiful, so tender . The flower is so thin, you can se rigt through it, It has some marks of brown - and other signs wich tells it is coming soon to the end With this beatiful spring flower. There is soon others to come and replace...

This is of course a strange approach. Making a panorama to portray a flower. But I tried and tried and was not happy with the composition. I wanted the flower as big as possible and ended up with too little headroom or too little room at the bottom of the frame. So i decided to solve the problem with a panorama of two frames on top of each other. What do you think?

Wood Anmone, ( Anemone nemorosa L )
Wood anmone occurs throughout the British Isles, being absent only from Orkney and Shetland and from th wholly unwooded area of the East Anglian fens, It occurs in a wide range of different kinds of woodlands but is most abundant in ancient woodland that is regularly coppiced, o acid or waterlogged soils, It omes into leaf and flower in the early spring, the leaves soon withering, so that on less acid and better-drained soils it is unable to compete with more evergreen herbs like dog's mercury, In East Anglia it is strongly associated with ancient woodlands, but is able to survive woodland clearing in hedgerows and also occasioally in acid grassland, The flowers produce no nectar, but pollination is effected by bees, bumble-bees and a large variety of flies,
Flowers nod when closed, pink blush on back of its five to nine petalilike sepals
Plant Height ;- 5 - 30 cm,
Flower Size ;- 2 - 4 cm wide,
Flowering Time ;- March - May,
Leaves ;- Basal and whorled, long-stalked,
Fruit ;- Head of whorled, long-stalksd,
