Highway leading into a rain storm in the North Saskatchewan prairies. Same rainstorm as in the 'Saskatchewan Rainstorm' picture. Out of the couple of good shots that came out of the series I shot I think I like this one best. Did some editing using GIMP, being the good OpenSource/Linux user that I am.

I visit Yosemite often, and seldom photograph the icons of the Valley. Typically I look for those beautiful images Mother Nature offers up. But could not resist this reflection of Half Dome late in the day. It was the ripple in the water that drew me in, as the bugs were in high gear that evening! My thanks to AlicePopKorn textures!

Another "Night Shot" for U. Actually if you want to get technical, this ended up being an "Early Saturday Morning" shot. It all began getting out of a band session about 11pm on Fri17July09...supporting a friend who just released his first CD! Off to an interesting vantage of the Transamerica, and then Coit Tower. Well from Coit Hill that's where I originally spotted this beauty, all lit up & blocked by Embaradero buildings. When finally on The Embarcadero went on foot & gained access from this Acapulco Bound Beauty! I'm calling this my $53 ship shot because the meter maid beat me back to the car by 10 min @1:30am! It better be a good seller !!:-S

Should have done a custom color balance on site, found there way to much green from the buildings lights...and had to color blend them out of the pier post, hull, and sails. The Ship also had a list to it, I was originally level with my camera to the ground, but in post processing decided the leaning ship might be just a little to much like a "Drunken Sailor" approach to this photo. What do U think?

Suddenly they all took off!.....dancing over the water performing aeriel ballet. I love how the wing of the first goose is actually touching the water with the low angle of the sun highlighting the rippled reflections.
