Lovely group of photographers and models joined us for a portrait session at sofa.com in Marchmont, Edinburgh tonight. Bit hectic running round making sure everyone was OK but still managed to pop of a couple shots during it all. Much thanks to the staff at sofa.com for letting us run riot for a couple of hours and use their lovely stock to boot.

I was bored and decided to do something a little different.

In a previous image I said my daughter was taking an interest. So I got hold of this older Panasonic LX3. This was one from her first outing.

At the moment the images were all shot as JPEG so not too much.. Think next time switching to a setting that can shoot raw to give us more information to work with.. not bad for learning 7 year old :)

My wife came home with a new cook book and while looking through it I decided to try shooting some food tonight.

Flash is from an SB-26 bounching off the ceiling and a bounce card camera right. 1/4 power. Probably should have set up another bounce card camera right to lighten it up more but... was hungry

Found on a Treeless island in the north sea where it uses drift wood, fence posts, buildings and rocky cliffs to perch.
