An everyday daydreamer
A foreign and unintentional loss of focus
A lack of determination, passion, desire
Blinded by the blizzard’s turbulent snow

Eines schönen Morgens fuhr der in Wunstorf stationierte Mercedes Benz Citaro 2 Ü Hybrid auf der Linie 700 und konnte unweit des Seelzer Personenbahnhofs fotografiert werden.

Stillstandsmanagement der DB in Mukran. Neben vielen City Night Line-Wagen stehen hier auch viele Loks der BR 155 und Puma-Wagen, welche früher zwischen Frankfurt und Würzburg fuhren. 2016 konnte ich sie noch im Einsatz fotografieren.

Ondanks de aangekondigde hiitegolf, toch maar besloten naar de Rijn in Duitsland te trekken.
Met Peterspoor in mijn auto zijn we naar omgeving Linz getrokken.
Daar de bekende plaatsjes en zo veel mogelijk schaduw opgezocht en is het ons toch gelukt een 45 cargos te vangen.
En dat in een temperatuur tot dik 30 graden in de schaduw!!!

I am always surprised and encouraged to see fruiting bodies erupt from long dead dry wood. These structures are 5-6 mm high.
Die Lauter in unserem kleinen Tal muss seit jeher einiges leisten. Musste sie im Mittelalter unzählige Mühlen antreiben, so wurde sie im späten 19. Jahrhundert dazu genutzt, der Papierfabrik Scheufelen in Oberlenningen Wasser und Energie zuzuführen. Dies führte dazu, dass seit vielen Jahren ein System von Kanälen das Tal durchzieht.
Um einen kühlen, gänzlich verregneten Sommertag in der Dachstein-Tauern-Region wirklich gut nutzen zu können, entschieden wir uns dafür, den mehrere Kilometer langen, ohne nennenswerte Höhenunterschiede auskommenden Panorama-Rundweg West in Ramsau am Dachstein zu gehen. Hier ein Blick vom Weg im Bereich des Südrands der Ortschaft nahe der Waldschenke über einen Speichersee hinweg in Richtung der evangelischen Kirche. Die berühmten Dachstein-Berge sind in den tief hängenden Regenwolken vollständig eingehüllt und daher unsichtbar.
To really make the best of a cool, completely rainy summer's day in the Dachstein-Tauern region, we decided to walk the Panorama circular hike West in Ramsau am Dachstein, which is several kilometres long and has no significant differences in altitude. Here's a view from the path on the southern edge of the village near the Waldschenke inn across a reservoir towards the Protestant church. The famous Dachstein mountains are completely shrouded in the low-hanging rain clouds and therefore invisible.
