I often struggle with the fact that I am two photographers, one loves black and white moody images and the other craves strong vibrant atmospheric cinematic shots....this is the real reason I often post photo's and quickly delete, I want to project an image, but the other 'I' want's to delete them.....so as I have said before, if you comment on a shot and it dissapears, behind the scenes is an artistic wrestling match between me and me, but thank you so much for your interest, we both appreciate it very much.......lost the plot, I marked it out, so full control remains with me!

This time, I did not chase any concept. Whenever I saw a strange place I started to shoot Maja. She never even asked what and why we are shooting, she just started to pose on her own way. It was an empty street and finding an empty street in İstanbul is always sort of a miracle. İt looks like a shoot that all beginner portrait photographers do; put the model on the beginning of the street, use the perserpective and leading lines to point her head, very simple effective tactic. But, using a well used composition rule and apply it as it is , sounds horrible to me. So, I put her out of the center, used under exposed light ın order to make the place look uncanny and pressed the button when she looked around like she was lost.
Seit Eröffnung des Main-Donau-Kanals ist Berching sozusagen auch eine kleine Hafenstadt. Er brachte einigen wirtschaftlichen Aufschwung.
Erbaut wurde der Kanal zwischen 1960 und 1992. Mit ihm entstand eine durchgehende und Europakanal genannte Großschifffahrtsstraße zwischen der Nordsee bei Rotterdam und dem Schwarzen Meer bei Constanța (Rumänien), die über Rhein, Main und Donau verläuft. Deshalb wird der Kanal auch als Rhein-Main-Donau-Kanal (RMD-Kanal) bezeichnet. Regional wird er zur Unterscheidung von seinem Vorgänger Ludwig-Donau-Main-Kanal oft einfach Neuer Kanal genannt. Die 17 Kilometer lange Scheitelhaltung, die das Mittelgebirge Fränkische Alb als die Europäische Hauptwasserscheide Rhein–Donau überquert, ist mit 406 m ü. NN der höchste Punkt des europäischen Wasserstraßennetzes.

I'm back. Hi.
Lately I have been dealing with some very negative and damaging feelings that I have been harboring about myself. It's not only hurting me, but those around me as well. I am happy- I just can't let go of all these negative thoughts. There are people who love me very very much, but until I can be happy with who I am and how I look, I'll never truly believe all the wonderful things they say. I'm sick of feeling too fragile. I have realized that I have to start changing the way I feel about myself and that I have treat myself with kindness.
I woke up this morning and just really felt the need to take a self portrait. It has been at least 3 months since I've taken one, and at least 5 months since I've been taking them consistently. I woke up and remembered how every time I had a problem, I'd turn it into a photograph. So i did.
This photo is my first step in what will probably be a long process to feel beautiful and to be happy with who I Am. I'll get there.

Over at a friends for lunch and this baby Galah was being looked after by its mother in a nearby tree. It was very unbalanced, I would say not long out of the nest. Very cute.
Well it's got to be an improvement on living in a box under a herb garden . Once Fifi finds my lap to sit on, she moves upwards (by clawing) and remains under my chin trying to hypnotize me. Fortunately I am a very busy person and have little time for this to happen.

Der Starzug der Bremer Strecke ist meines Erachtens seit Dezember 2022 der Nightjet 470/IC 60470 Zürich - Hamburg-Altona, der zuvor über Celle nach Hamburg fuhr und durch seine Halte sogar viel internationales Flair an die Bahnsteige von Nienburg und Verden bringt. Er steht in der Tradition des "Komet" und ist derzeit der einzige internationale Personenzug auf der Strecke und einer der wenigen Züge überhaupt in der Region Hannover, der international aussieht. Besonders europäisch war er am Morgen des 9.5. als sogar die zum Ausgansbahnhof passenden Schweizer Wagen hinter der Lok hingen, während die österreichischen Wagen des Betreibers eher für die moderne, eigenwirtschaftliche Bahnwelt als für klassisch internationalen Verkehr stehen. Der 10.5. war der vorerst letzte Tag in dieser späteren Zeitlage, der Zug fährt normalerweise cirka zwei Stunden früher und damit fast das ganze Jahr zu früh für Fotos.
Wie immer musste ich den weißen Kasten in der Kurve entfernen.
P.S.: Kurze Bitte an die NightJet-Gruppe. Meinen zweiten Vorschlag bitte nochmal ansehen, hab eine deutlich bessere Variante eines späteren Auslösemoments gewählt, kann es aber nicht erneut für die Gruppe vorschlagen.
Another morning at the Railroad Hannover - Bremen, leaving early my bed for the NightJet 470 Zürich - Hamburg, the only international passenger train between Hannover and Bremen and one of the few really international looking passenger trains at Hannover Mainstation. Usually with his austrian cars of the Operator ÖBB remembering that it is more some part of modern, liberated railways, the swiss cars in a train that comes from Switzerland and not from Austria gave this train on this morning a more traditional flair.
Die Tage kommt so mancher Regenschauer vom Himmel, so auch in Parchen, wobei die rauskommende Sonne noch schnell einen Regenbogen in den Himmel Zeichnet.
