I hid in my car, which has tinted windows and started shooting people crossing the street, or moving by shoes, was when I realized that someone had pixado the wall: "Souls".
Me escondi no meu carro, que possui vidros escuros, e comecei a fotografar as pessoas atravessando a rua, ou se deslocando pela calçado, foi quando percebi que alguém havia pichado na parede: "Almas".
I spotted this guy waiting at a bus stop. He readily agreed to be photographed, but his expression/demeanor/stance didn't change the least bit.

Alma, Wisconsin; the Buffalo County Training School and Teachers College was built in 1902 to train high school graduates to become teachers in the rural schools in the county. Initially the training was for one year, and later increased to two years, to become a qualified teacher. The building is now used as a museum.
Miss Alma Winterbottom is settling in at home.

Me gustan los retratos con “alma”, no me agrada lo premeditado.
Aquí, en Flickr, he visto muchos, y buenos; tanto de un bando como del otro. Pero la “posse”, la preparación, el “sonríe”, el sacar el lado bueno, y hasta a veces, sólo modelos bellos ... no me va.
Me gusta trazar las heridas, las heridas del alma, la historia que hay detrás de cada mirada o gesto robado, incluso en mis sesiones fotográficas.
Poco veis de cuando hago una boda, una comunión, un book. La mayoría de esas fotos las siento frías, y siempre intento agarrar por sorpresa momentos que mis clientes creen que no van a ver luego en el papel, y eso gusta.
Con ello, es obvio que muchos sabéis que no soy amigo de quien se autorretrata, aun pareciendome algunas de esas fotos obras de arte. Pero pierden parte de su esencia, en el mundo de la fotografía ... a mi modesto entender ...
Con mi fotografía de autor me moriría de hambre, con mis BBC’s, me pago la hipoteca. Pero no dejaré el intento, de al menos, seguir inmortalizando el alma de las imágenes que vemos, que al fin y al cabo, es lo que nos trajo a la fotografía ...

The ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) Observatory is composed by 66 Antennas and located in the Atacama Desert in Chile, at 5,000 meters (16,000 ft) elevation.
There were many factors that motivated me to build this model: I am in love with science, in particular astronomy and space exploration, and a few days ago the first picture of a black hole was made and ALMA played a fundamental role in this enormous achievement. In addition, the ALMA Observatory is located in my country, Chile.
The ALMA Observatory was part of the Event Horizon Telescope project, which achieved the first direct photograph of a black hole. ALMA is also being used in the study of the composition of comets and the formation of planets among other projects.
The most complex part of this LEGO project was to built an accurate and robust parabolic dish in 1:50 scale.
As a complement to the project I made a small mosaic of 18 x 18 studs that illustrates the historic first photograph of a black hole.
