Sometimes it seems it's only with a measure of sunlight that the magic of fall really happens. I mean it's hard to find translucence in a wet leaf laying haphazard on a step...not that I'm completely knocking the gray somberness of wet leaves on the ground there's a kind of beauty in that also, I just expect it more in November than October....I guess a few gray days do make the sun lit days all the more beautiful. How else could we measure and contrast of Autumn days? (Still, wouldn't it be nice if the gray overcast colors would confine themselves to ragged clouds in the sky? At least until November which is when I always have them penciled in on my calendar .)

I get an idea for what works out as this...

- really they're just pictures that grow into what "you" the viewer chooses to see and imagine...

Few half cans and an empty mind. Just wanted to paint something without any preconcieved ideas or intense planning. Turned out pretty fun I reckon and was one of the most enjoyable so far.Sick day with a good friend.
