The Allman Brothers Band Museum, also known as The Big House, is a museum in Macon, Georgia, United States. It was the home to The Allman Brothers Band's original members, their families, and various friends from 1970 to 1973. The Big House was renovated by The Big House Foundation and opened in November 2009 as an interactive museum dedicated to identifying and preserving the history of The Allman Brothers Band.
The Allman Brothers were a very popular band during the 1970's pioneers in a musical sub genre called "Southern Rock" which is a blending of country and rock elements. It's been so long ago I can't remember the exact year but I do remember it was at the Capital Theater. This was a very blurred scanned film shot that just sat in my computer drives for years but I ran it through Topaz Sharpen AI and then through KREA AI enhancement and then ran the JPEG image through both programs again to give you all this image brought back from the dead to speck and here is a link to YouTube video of one of their concerts from close to the time I saw them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Hb9aNgivdg&ab_channel=Allman...

What got me started in photography 1969? Photographing rock bands,I grew up in a very big college town area ,concerts all the time in 60s & 70s,had free run with a SLR back in those days,plus a press pass my friend gave me..this is where I learned alot .Duane Allman 1969? 1970? Yashica something SLR an GAF high speed film.I was a a teenager and probably had a few joints an beers,more steady back then,now in my seventys IBIS dont even help shooting sober.
A gig at Little Tokyo, a local grill restaurant here on the island. Place was jampacked... with band friends and relatives, hahaha!

An iconic moment in Macon history honored with a mural on the side of H&H Soul Food downtown. The Moonhanger Group commissioned artist Steven Teller to paint not only an iconic photo of the Allman Brothers Band eating at the restaurant, but to include images of the original owners Inez Hill 'Mama Hill' and Louise Hudson 'Mama Louise.'
