"There's no time to give at all
I cause you grief and blow my hatred
Further in your mind
You reach, I run, you fall
On skinned knees you crawl
I want to set you free, recognize my disease
Love, sex, pain, confusion, suffering
You're there crying, I feel not a thing
Drilling my way deeper in your head
Sinking, draining, drowning, bleeding, dead"
Down in a hole and I don't know if I can be saved
See my heart I decorate it like a grave
You don't understand who they
Thought I was supposed to be
Look at me now a man
Who wont let himself be
Alice In Chains, Nova Rock, Austria

"You were always so far away,
I know that pain,
So don't you run away like you used to do"

Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) - RIP (Far right).
As a promoter, I (next to him wearing the "Rage Against the Machine" Shirt) brought NINA HAGEN to a Seattle Venue called "Under the Rail" in the 90's and had the band, Second Coming open.
Layne was brought to the venue and sang the song "It's Coming after" with them. MTV was there too (they were "tipped off)" as this was the time of his "Hiatus" and the press were looking for "signs of life." They showed a clip on MTV..
Next to me is Mark Nelson and Jonny B. (both in 2nd Coming at the time).
Killer but Eerie performance. Song lyrics include the line "I'm gonna stretch your skin across her frame and paint it blue." Also saw him perform this song 2 other times at other venues, before this show...One at RKCNDY and the other at the Fenix Underground. Also, possibly the Colorbox.
Thanks to a £5 off voucher from Amazon, Jar of Flies/Sap (Sap is ss/etched) became a must buy.
Also picked up Dirt from Discogs
Initially inspired by the song Angry Chair by Alice in Chains.
I did this in the car park of the local electrical super store. Just as I was about to put the last thing in the car the alarms for the shop went off. Not knowing if I had accidentally sent them off some how (loud squeaky light stand?) I freaked out, stuffed my softbox in the boot and took off..

Not all of the lyrics I am routing are from Rush! Alice In Chains, Don’t Follow.
