Flight AS 5 from Washington DC (DCA) about to touch down at LAX - one of the exceptions to the airport's normal perimeter rule.
Not that surprising since this is one of their hubs. This one was shot through our shuttle bus window. We flew back to Phoenix with Alaska and it was probably the best airline experience I've ever had. They will be our first choice for anywhere else they can get us to.

The golden hour of Saturday, 29 June 2024 finds Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 N720AL rocketing skyward off Runway 28R enroute to Seattle Tacoma International Airport as Alaska 421.
N407AS was the third of an eventual 79 Boeing 737-900ERs delivered new to Alaska Airlines, making the grueling six-mile (9 km) journey from Boeing Field to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to join the fleet in December 2012.
