Spring itself is a magical season but I've enhanced that magic a bit through camera settings, lens choice and dof.

Prunus Spinosa ( Blackthorn )

Thank you very much for visits, comments and faves!

Very narrow spiral staircase in the Chapel at Greenwich. The angle of these type of shots is magic, it could be up or down!

Thanks for viewing 😀

a device to reverse entropy in the kitchen .. truly 'a kind of magic' for 'flickrfriday' & HSS!

According to the current theme, group members were supposed to show tricks one can do with the camera. My favourite one is to make things vanish with a long-exposure capture.

De acuerdo con el tema propuesto, los miembros del grupo teníamos que mostrar algún truco con la cámara. Mi favorito es hacer desaparecer objetos con fotografías de larga exposición.

This weeks theme has been "A Kind of Magic" for Flickr Friday, well it is Thursday and I still not sure what to do, I love the magic of reflections, water, mirrors, orbs, crystal ball, this window from downtown Tulsa combines the Art Deco of the building being photographed with the building across the street in a bit of distortion. My magic to bend the light!

In the second half of 19th century, a landowner, captivated by the charm of medieval beauty, brought this lemon house to life.

A cozy abode, boasting 4 rooms, and standing at a mere floor's height. This breathtaking beauty, now in ruins, still exudes a captivating charm.

Canon 6d Multiple Exposure

The light coming through my window as I was misting my house plants.

To get an idea of the proportions, bear in mind that the keep (the tower) is 65 metres high

@ Castel dell'Aquila

A castle isolated on a hill; the choice of a bedroom at the highest point of the tower; a dinner based entirely on a medieval menu; a guided tour at night and then, thanks to the kindness of the manager, the whole castle at my complete disposition, so that I could tour it in all its spaces, including being able to stay at the top of the tower alone, first to see the sunset and then return to see the sunrise.

For a lover of the Middle Ages like me, it was a more than magical weekend

FlickrFriday "A Kind Of Magic" theme

An image to illustrate the Skittles advert with the slogan 'Taste the Rainbow'.

I've this is mind for the theme since I saw it on one of the lists linked to in the group but I kept forgetting to buy the Skittles. They aren't a sweet I would actually eat!

Off camera flash (bare) at 1/32 power

119 pictures in 2019 (85) represent a well known advertising slogan.

Also for Flickr Friday 'a kind of magic' theme. I always think the way the flash freezes motion is a 'kind of magic'.

When fall asleep, sometimes, my mind start working stangely: I feel blocked and, as a spectator at the theater, i watch a movie played by my immagination. Then, when i wake up, i menage to remember the dream but, in few minutes, all the story becomes blurr and I restart my usual life.

A couple looking out over London from Queens House. NOT the Queens home lol, The Queen’s House in Greenwich is one of the most interesting buildings in the country. It is important architecturally, and it is famous for its former occupants and its art collection. The Queen’s House even has its own ghost – if legend is to be believed.

Also it's a kind of magic how cameras today have so many filters in them. This is taken with a little Panasonic LX15. I put in on dramatic mono mode and .... voila ... A kind of magic.

Sightseeing in Oslo a beautiful sunny day, winter but even though spring

And then chasing the sunlight as it was about to set

I was nearly about to lose my eyes when I saw the reflection in the steel-glass banister in the building

It glittered so lovely in the sunset

I ended up being a model for another photographer this afternoon, my silhouette was all over his photos and we had a good laugh together in our joy over the hobby we had and all the beauty we saw

Tiny flowers packed with magical fragrance. It’s finally starting to feel a little like spring.

A picture within a picture with a little touch of magic, perfect for the #FlickrFriday challenge.

Taken up the Dunning Glen near the Castlehil Reservoir. I thought this picturesque spot would be ideal for a framed picture of the river, so here it is :))
