1661 was causing havoc in the bus station as it was already on the stand over an hour before leaving, so Dave came to the rescue and moved 1661 to the lay-over bays
Here are Express Motors MAN Marcopolo Viales CX56 AHZ and CX56 AXD are both seen as one is operating the route 85 for Llanberis and the other is on the route 9A for Caernarfon. 7/11/17
With an unfortunate news to the company which has now came to and end for Express Motors which they have lost there licence and went into ceased trading and probably be back in business on the 17th of January 2018. All of Express Motors services have now been awarded to Arriva Buses Wales, Gwynfor Coaches, Huw's Coaches and Lloyds Coaches.
Express Motors was founded in 1908 by Eric Wyn Jones and remaining the company into a family owned business. In August 2017 after there has been a France coach crash in 2016 they have been found that it has been falsified with the maintenance records and having there licence revoked until the 31st of December 2017.

Express Motors MAN / Marcopolo CX56 AHZ calls at Oakeley Arms on route 1B to Blaenau Ffestiniog. This was one of a pair of these ultra rare types in the fleet.

Gem Mini Travel CX56 AHZ is approaching Retford bus station on service 190. It is a MAN 18.220 with rare Marcopolo Viale coachwork which was new to Jones (Express), Penygroes in 2006. It later spent some time with Lew Jones, LLanrwst before coming to Gem Mini Travel in 2020.

Here are a pile of vehicles at Express Motors Penygroes depot starting behind is Wrightbus Volvo B10BLE Renown S447 KCW, next in front is Optare Excel X606 XFX parking next to Wrightbus Volvo B10BLE Renown T813 CBW and the other buses what are withdrawn, next behind the Renown is MAN Marcopolo Viale CX56 AHZ and lastly in front is Optare Solo MX55 BYD as they are all seen being put to sleep as they were being on public services in the areas of Bangor, Caernarfon, Porthmadog and Llandudno. 18/03/17

YU-AHX 'Beograd' c/n 1351203 del 3/71 returned to the Soviet Union 12/90 and allocated reg CCCP-93930 at the Kharkov factory.
Upgraded to Tu-134A-3 del to Aero Tumi Peru as OB-1489 9/92, noted with Imperial Air by 1/94, withdrawn from service 5/94 stored at Lima - still there in 2005.
Aviogenex Tu-134(A)s - the airline was the only 'Western' operator of the type in Europe, with a fleet of Tupolev Tu-134s (short-lived) and the larger Tu-134As. Twelve aircraft operated with the airline between 1969 and 1989. Here is a list of the fleet:

This aircraft was delivered to Alia - Royal Jordanian Airlines as JY-ADV in Nov-74. It was wet-leased to Dominicana (Dominican Republic) in Dec-84 and re-registered HI-452 when Dominicana bought it in May-85.
It was sold to a lessor in Aug-86, re-registered N500AV and leased back to Dominicana. The aircraft was repossessed by the lessor in Feb-87 and stored.
In May-87 it was leased to Air Holland as PH-AHZ. it was returned to the lessor at the end of the summer season in Nov-87. The aircraft was leased to Dan-Air London as G-BPND in Jan-88 and returned to the lessor in Nov-92. It was re-registered N500AV in Feb-93.
The aircraft was leased to Air Terrex (Czech Republic) as OK-EGK in Jul-93. It returned to the lessor as G-BPND in Jan-95 and was leased to Sabre Airlines in Apr-95. Sabre Airlines was renamed Excel Airways in Jan-01.
It was returned to Cougar Leasing in ???-01 and converted to freighter configuration with a main deck cargo door in Mar-02. It was leased to Cougar Airlines a few days later.
The aircraft was sold to Wells Fargo Bank Northwest as N8883Z in Jun-03. It was sold to AmeriJet International in Jul-04 and re-registered N804AJ in Oct-04. After 33 years in service it was permanently retired at Goodyear, AZ, USA in Jun-07. Updated 13-Dec-21.

LK60AHZ / TEH1108 is a 2010 Alexander Dennis Enviro400H (H37/24D) from Metroline.
New to Metroline in November 2010.
Highlight of the day, in rarity terms, if not appearance, was this Marcopolo Viale MAN with Gem of Rampton, which turned up on a rail replacement job from Newark. One of a pair new to Express Motors of Penygroes, it spent its last days in north Wales on visitor shuttles at the 2019 National Eisteddfod in Llanrwst with local operator Llew Jones. Its twin is now in the Irish Republic, along with several others which were new to operators in that country.
On a wet day in Chippenham, Hatt's AHZ 1257 stands in the bus station. It is a MAN 16.290 with Jonckheere Deauville coachwork, new to Hallmark, Luton in 1990 and originally registered G651 ONH.
YN64 AHZ is a Scania K230UB/AD Enviro 300 new to Stagecoach Western in December 2014 as their number 28704. It is seen here in Girvan whilst working service 60 to Ayr.
