My latest weapon for flying down the hills of Bonnie Scotland :) Only problem is i really need it to get badly scratched so i can relieve the tension of having to look after it because once it gets marked you start to worry a bit less about the condition but when its immaculate like it is just now you do worry about it a lot more. I know that sound bizarre but we are talking about a £5k bit of kit here, the frame alone was £2.3k.
Custom built Nicolai (German) frame built exactly to my specification. Not cheap but the build quality is bloody amazing and once you have one you wont turn back! Big thanks to Richard at Gravity Sports for supplying virtually everything i have to do with biking.
Picture shows the bike with the DT Swiss (Red) FR 2350 wheel set with heavy downhill Schwalbe muddy Mary tyres. I also have a set of (Hope hoops) Stan's ZTR Flow rims on Hope Pro 2 hubs running Maxxis Ardent 2.4" tyres running tubeless (Hope provide a tubeless kit for the hope hoops as an extra) which knocks a massive amount of rotational weight off the bike; roughly 3.5lbs!!!!!
