Three of these (OJU, OJV and OJW) by Avon Fire and Rescue in 2007. OJV was stationed at Chew Magna, OJW Clevedon and OJU Temple. All of these have since been disposed of to Gloucstershire Fire and Rescue.

The Boeing Collection
From a collection of some 500 Boeing slides that I've had scanned from my archives. Hope they will provide some enjoyment and nostalgia from a bygone age.
Seen on one of my regular visits to my home airport of London Heathrow, backlit by the morning sunshine, with typical Zenith 'lighting effects', Alia Boeing 707 JY-AFR is seen here operating flight RJ112Q (according to my trusty log book). Alia operated no less than fourteen 707s over the years, but this machine was only with them from May 1979 to August 1982. Originally delivered to South African Airways as ZS-SAF. On the far right of shot is the nose of an Air Canada TriStar.
JY-AFR c/n 19706 - Boeing 707-344C was delivered new to South African Airways as ZS-SAF in April 1968 and flew with the airline ten years before being superseded on long-haul flights by the Boeing 747s. The aircraft was leased to various airlines throughout the late 1970s and 1980s: to Luxair for a short time in as LX-LGT, to Sabena as OO-SJR, to Cargolux as LX-LGT, to Alia Royal Jordanian Airlines in 1979-82 as JY-AFR, and to Eagle Air - Arnaflug again as LX-LGT. In 1985 it was operated by Safair as ZS-LSL, and then from 1986 to 1995 it was operated by Air Swazi Cargo 3D-ASC. In 1995 the aircraft was transferred to the South African Air Force as AF-623, later 1423. The aircraft was withdrawn in 2004, and eventually broken up at Rand Airport, Johannesburg.
