First attempts on building a rover. I didn't know anything about Febrovery, but saw Frost's builds and got hooked.
As this is my favorite minifig from the latest Series 21, I've decided to build one for this guy.
Some LED tape and a 32x32 trans-yellow plate from Bricks And Minifigs in Grandville, and boom! Instant fun.
Really happy with how this turned out. I made a short video about it if you want to see me try to swoosh it around.
Macau is a city in south-east China. Until 1999 it belonged to Portugal. Then it became part of China as a Special Administrative Region, thus maintaining some autonomy, same as Hongkong. Nowadays Macau is best known as world’s largest center of gambling. In this MOC, however, I focus on the old part of the city.
Thanks to its Portuguese roots, Macau has a unique charm. At every step you see western and eastern culture merge into one. It’s probably the only place in the world where you can taste pasteis de nata with durian topping.
The MOC shows some highlights from my trip to Macau in the summer of 2019:
* Architecture - mainly based on this place: www.flickr.com/gp/toltomeja/82N4Us
* Bilingual signboards (in Portuguese and Cantonese)
* Buddhist altar - many small altars are scattered around the city, same as larger temples and catcholic churches. It is quite an exceptional mix, but the buddhist tradition seems to be more lively.
* Bus stop – timetables are attached to a cyllinder that you can rotate to find your line. When it comes to public transport, everything happens really fast -something that I’m not used to. To make the things more confusing, in Macau you drive on the left side of the road, so the bus always arrived from the opposite side than a European tourist would expect.
* Shop with... Strange things – I honestly don’t know how to call this. From the look of them, the items for sale looked like dried fish fins and bones, perhaps some sea snails and herbs as well... If anybody has a clue, please let me know!
* Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich restaurant – this might not clearly be a local dish, but I’ve been there a couple of times and definitely recommend it!

"I'm sorry, sir. You should probably come back another time. I can tell this is your first time buying a dragon, so let me offer you some advice. SUMMER is the absolute worst time to buy dragons, everybody knows that! When the temperature rises, almost all dragon breeds become more active and you can easily lose a hand or a leg, and how are you supposed to ride a dragon after that? Trust me. Our family has been in the dragon business for almost a hundred years. We know everything about the dragons in these parts. For example, it may not look like it but I can assure you that this one is the best one. Not the cheapest mind you, but you want quality, don't you? Now if you can't tell that, then please stand back and leave it to the professionals."
This is what my brother said to our first customer this morning, and this is why I'm in such a good mood. That big viking was an imbecile, and we couldn't just let one of our prized dragons go to him. He left our shop without even looking. What can I say. Not only do you choose your dragon, but your dragon has to choose you too...and here at The Edge we have a lot dragons: fire breathers, green hornets, saberhorns, granny tooths and even rhino dragons. Just saying, if you are looking for one...

This is my entry for the Through the Seasons category in this year's Summer Joust 2021. I've teamed up with 3 awesome builders: Ted, Magnus and Josh. Thank you very much guys for your feedback and ideas! Thank you Ted also for helping me with the backstory!
This is my 24th build for the Iron Forge and I made one of my favorite robots. Used the seed part 6 times.
An AFOLs' worst nightmare of sorts when a minute detail looks annoyingly out of place. The first attempt on the double-sided circular stained glass window left a gap between the upper and lower halves of the windows which was totally unexpected and unacceptable.
The struggle is real!
Did NOT want to rush it so left it overnight with the thought of fixing it the next day when I went to sleep. When I woke up I had the problem solved in my mind (who doesn't experience this during sleep) and that's what was shown in the original post. The solution was very tricky and no cheats/cuts. This might also shed some light on those trying to figure out how it was done and if you've already reached this point, you're on the right track...

First introduced 10 years ago in 2010 with the classic rangefinder silhouette, excellent ergonomics, and impeccable optics - the iconic X100 series has developed a cult following amongst street photographers.
Based on some CC and also wanting to make a few touch-ups for BFVA, Spectra got some minor updates. Their torso and head are the same, but the arms were improved, fingers were added, and the legs and feet were modified slightly to fit the new arm length. :>
Let there be light - inside my Mecha head mono eye :)
Take another level to try out this LEGO brick light (Original) to redesign and fit in nicely within the head since its a 2x3 bricks. Glad it turn out well.
In a glade shadowed by pine trees lies this house. It has a large terrace (to some extent inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater) and a cosy conservatory with garden view.
It might not be my most complex build so far, but it's still one of of my hardest to finish. In April, after years and years of hard work as a legal counsel with high speed approach and self-imposed performance requirements, I ran out of energy. My brain stopped co-operating and I lost my ability to focus. Since then, I have been struggling to recover and to find a balance both at work and in my creative process with LEGO. Thus, finishing Pineglade House MOC means a lot to me and I'm glad that I'm now on a more sustainable path ahead.
In the future a new earth-like planet - named Ademis - is discovered. A group of people with different skills is sent to Ademis to live there and examine the pre-conditions for a larger colony to be established.

More series 4 minifig fun, i am sure this guy will be everywhere soon, so i thought i would join in...
I've just returned from a wonderful holiday in Ibiza. The post holiday blues are setting in and the washing is still piling up.
Vintage Gas Pump
Here a cool project I made with my friend Martin Chauvette for a LUG contest, it was a really fun collab to build this kind of thing. I don't usually build in this theme but for this MOC, it was an imposed theme,: GARAGE". So, we made an old fashioned Gas Pump.
13" Length
7" width
26" high
Over 4000 parts... we just lost the count!!!
Approx. 8-9 hours of build!
Location: Coruscant Underworld, Night Life District
Objective: Reconstruction.
Difficulty: Trivial.
— LOG ENTRY —
Moving the last of the supplies was pretty smooth sailing. I think those spies learned quickly to let us do our job. But I’m not daft, I know theres Imperials crawling in the shadows, especially those under the command of Admiral Jud....
Its been a few weeks and the people around here are starting to look a lot less shell shocked by all that occurred during the riots. The fires have been put out and much of the rubble has been cleaned up. We regrouped back where we started in the Fine Arts District. There we were able to discuss our next move. Hozz has tasked us with rebuilding the city from where it stands. The buildings needed redesigned and most if not all of them repainted.
We knew it was a huge task, but even with groups all over Coruscant we stood no match against time. So we took it upon ourselves to gather some citizens from the surrounding area to pitch in and help the cause. Lets just say, it was quite the experience...
— END LOG —
“Alright!!! Everyone listen up! I was able to pull a few strings and get hover pads for moving up and down the buildings easier. Please stay strapped in at all times. The last thing I need is street cleanup added to the already long list of tasks to complete.”
Hozz was always quick to crack a joke, but he was just as quick to let the group know that he didn’t need anyone seriously injured. Also, that most of the hard stuff was already done.
“The Scum and Imperials that are still left are few and they are hiding. They know what awaits them when they return to the surface. But what do we have to worry about anyways? We are survivors.”
Before he leaves, Hozz walks over to Address Cray and Jehk who were going over their plans on how to be as efficient as possible.
“You two are going to be on your own today, I have to head over to the industrial district to watch over a couple groups since their leader wasn’t so lucky as to make it back from the supply runs.”
“It won’t be an issue Hozz, we got this. Jehk and I already have an idea of where to start, is it alright with you if we gather some citizens to help out?”
“Thats not an issue with me, but just remember you guys are liable. I gotta go though. Enjoy your day fellas. Good luck.”
Cray and Jehk grab their tools along with hover pads and head door to door gathering the few that are willing to assist. Well... the few with tools. They could tell the help wasn’t going to be the best. But they needed all the hands they could get.
Cray gathers the group, “LISTEN UP! Extremely happy you all could come out today. We are going to head deeper into the nightlife district to fix up some buildings. Theres a lot of exposed wires so watch yourself. If you decide to use the hover pads remember to strap yourself in and be careful of your surroundings.”
Cray led the group to start on a larger white structure known as The Blassiu. The tope half on the building was almost completely wiped away on the street side. The group quickly got to work. The sounds of power tools echoed around the building and rang through the exposed pipes. At one point the group hearing a muffled yell explode back at them through the pipes. At the same time all the lights in the area became bright then shut off. Only after a few seconds did they come back on and return to normal.
“That was quite odd.” Jehk feeling concerned.
“Probably just a breaker popping Jehk”

I built this for the Survivors 12x12 Challenge as well as my Phase 2. If it can’t be accepted for both then just count it for Phase 2 of the mission. I rebuilt this probably 3 times before I was happy with the white building. I hope you all enjoy this smaller build and thanks as always for the support.❤️
