A lovely soft subtle atmosphere in this one. I loved the way the trees in the right hand side of the image are almost pointing towards the distant pine appearing in the left hand side of the image. Or maybe thats just how my mind works lol

Found these old photos from summer 2007, taken on a lovely summer´s day on a visit to Varberg with 2 Flick´r friends
Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway starred in the film The Thomas Crown Affair where this 1968 Ferrari 275 GTB NART debuted.
Despite being front-page news, just ten examples were built, and this car is the last of the ten.
Reading and Northern MP15DC 1543 was sitting nearby as R&N Pacific 425 was simmering at Reading's Outer Station.
The 425 was powering a Port Clinton-bound Santa Claus Special and would soon blast off; the MP15 would soon come to life and go about its daily assignment in the area.

It was autumn 2021, another day in Bruxelles. What to wear? Where to go? She settled for a comfortable sweater, a warm cup of coffee. Her fine complexion reflected clearly in the polished sides of the dimly lit booth. Having noticed all of this she asked me to take her picture.
Yep, no longer will you enjoy a scenic drive down the beach, catching the sights. Instead, the view will have been sold for $500,000 a door to people who may use it once or twice a year. Who knows how the old classic hangouts (like Schooners) will be able to survive.
White Storks
I watched this pair of white storks for some time and their mating ritual was always the same, so I was able to set the distance and detail precisely and focus on the right moment to trigger the camera ...
First, the male leaves the nest and flies into the nearby forest. It collects branches for nest building. Then it flies back to the nest and is already expected and welcomed. Then it gets nagged and finally mates - always the same for more than half an hour. You could have filmed it, but since I'm more of a photographer, I decided to do a little series here.
Have fun watching these wonderful birds.
Ich habe dieses Weißstorchenpaar einige Zeit beobachtet und ihr Paarungsritual spielte sich immer wieder gleich ab und so konnte ich die Entfernung und den Ausschnitt präzise manuell einstellen und mich auf den richtigen Moment für die Auslösung der Kamera konzentrieren...
Zunächst verlässt das Männchen das Nest und fliegt in den nahen Wald. Es sammelt Zweige für den Nestbau. Dann fliegt es zurück ins Nest und wird schon erwartet und begrüßt. Dann wird geschnäbelt und letztendlich paaren sie sich - immer der gleiche Ablauf für mehr als eine halbe Stunde. Man hätte es sicherlich filmen können, doch da ich nun mal eher Fotograf bin, habe ich mich hier für eine kleine Serie entschieden.
