Unfortuantely, this was to be my last photo taken via my Sony DSC-W510. What a sick camera it was - we have had some great times together (picture of WM47400 on 187 on link was not taken on Sony), but you just had to stop working (on 11.01.2013, a day after Nigeria won the AFCoN!) after two weeks without use. Peak times. Au revoir, mon ami. LOL. Emosh, right?

The South Sudanese national football team Bright Star played a home game in Juba against Benin on Wednesday, 23 March, in a qualifying match for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON]. The game was attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and James Wani Igga, 2nd Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan, among others.
Benin scored the opening goal during the 16th minute and another in the 75th minute. South Sudan answered back with a goal of their own in the 83rd minute, but Benin took the game 2:1.
After the match the teams travelled to Benin for a rematch.

Ghana are the Champions of the 2021 Africa U20 Cup of Nations after overcoming Uganda in the final on Saturday in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
Daniel Afriyie Banieh scored a brace to help Ghana win their fourth title at this stage. They had previously won it in 1993, 1999 and 2009.
Afriyie scored a goal in each half as Ghana showed class and effectiveness in a game of limited opportunities.
Uganda had had a fairytale run at the tournament making progress in scintillating fashion but the Hippos were a shadow of themselves against Ghana.
Morley Byekwaso made one change from the team that had defeated Tunisia in the semifinals with Ivan Asaba starting ahead of Najib Yiga.
His counterpart Karim Abdul Zito on the other hand made no changes in the team that had overcome Gambia.
Kakooza nearly gave Uganda the lead three minutes after kickoff but his attempted lobe over the goalkeeper sailed above the crossbar.
Ghana too came close to getting an early lead but Baffour and Essiam were denied by the woodwork in quick succession.
The breakthrough came in the 22nd minute with Daniel Afriyie Barnieh dashing to the near post to flick home from a corner kick delivery.
He got his second on the day six minutes into the second stanza tapping home from close range when Boah set him up.
Boah won possession from Asaba at the centre line and made a run towards the right before finding Barnieh who was arriving on the blind side.

Ivan Eyam has become a free agent after the Mbarara City Football Club midfielder's contract expired at the end of June.
He has however disclosed that he will weigh the available options on the table before making a decision.
“I want to take my time and look at all the possible offers being presented before me. Then, I will make a decision” Eyam disclosed.
Eyam is an AFCON U-20 silver medalist after being part of the Uganda Hippos’ team that lost to champions Ghana in Mauritania.
He has received offers from Mbarara City, KCCA and BUL.
As an offensive midfielder, Eyam’s acceleration and ability to play that odd defence splitter have often elevated him above the ordinary.
Meanwhile, Mbarara City managed to get the signature of goalkeeper Martin Elungat who penned an extension of the contract for two more seasons.
Solomon Okwalinga, Jude Ssemugabi and Eyam are being convinced for extensions.
