OK so we didn't quite nail the pose (or the framing for that matter), that'll teach me for composing photos from memory ;).
One thing this does capture is the "feel" of that classic opening shot to the bond films. My reference for this particular one was the recent re-imagining in Casino Royale, which features the scene blend seemlessly into a fight in a toilet, classey!
The gun barrel is all post production (in case you can't tell lol) based loosely around this tutorial up to about step 17, after which I went a little insane on the PP side of things...

Photoshop fun!
I used this excellent tutorial to create the rifled barrel although I don't have the skills yet to do the chromed reflective finish as seen in the real 007 opening scene. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

SuperV always wanted to learn how to do that awesome intro shot look from Bond. So today she decided to do a complete photo manipulation photo for the project.
Although Kuro only posed for a short while holding the ridiculous looking schrew driver thing, he loves how the end result of the picture turn out where he is the 'centre' of attention. Maybe next time, SuperV will toss in a splash of blood.

Finally, after more than a month of being just a rough sketch/idea on a page of my notebook (the spring-bound paper kind), I got to refine it digitally last night. And here it is, in a 1024 x 768 desktop wallpaper size, for all you patriots out there to download and place on your desktops. If you haven't noticed yet, the sentence "Pilipino Ako!" is an ambigram... turn it upside down or right-side-up, it'll say the same thing.
