Made for a friend on Instagram who never posts as part of a loooong trade. I specifically used McLovin1309's method of posable arms using skeleton arms and the ball ends of lever pieces.
Life should always be full of adventures and it was exactly that for us at The Grand Tetons.
This past summer, our family enjoyed some time away in Moran, Wyoming where we stayed at Jackson Lake Lodge in The Grand Teton National Park late July. We loved our time there at the lodge and the view from the lodge. This was a NP we had planned to visit for sometime and so thankful we were able.
We’re going on an adventure!
These Blythe dolls are Zoe and Her Pet Fish (Neo) and Mary Ann (Middie) for “Alice” on Facebook. Mary Ann has been in my doll room for months, and I finally unboxed her because she has an Alice theme and I can’t let her miss out! Isn’t she cute? This Barbie convertible is new to us too; I found it on sale at Target.
went looking for a lake we'd never been to. ended up finding this dried up marsh instead.

Our accommodation was on the north side of the archipelago, so on our first full day on les Îles de la Madeleine, Québec we drove to the far south end, quite a distance. On the extreme south coast, we spotted these people, we think likely on some sort of guided adventure, but could be a search and rescue team doing some training.

The young squire Loren, spent the majority of him days sharpening swords and polishing armor for knights and warriors of the kingdom. he would dream of the day he'd finally be given a chance to travel with one of the kingdoms valiant knights, so he could prove himself and become a knight himself one day. but after nearly ten years and many rejected requests he realized if he wanted the life of adventure and glory he dreamed of he'd have to take matters into his own hands.
hearing talk of a ruin infested with kobolds, (small bipedal lizard men about three feet tall) he decided to leave the safety of the capital. on his way out he was stopped by a familiar young woman the blacksmith's apprentice, a half elf he had gotten to know very well over the years as they would work on the knight's gear together often. she had figured he was going to venture out on his own one day, so in secret she had worked on a suit of armor and a sword for him. after accepting her gift, and giving a tearful farewell he went off into the night to make a name for himself...
A pair of Rail Adventure HSTs with a couple of MK3s arrive at Ladybank while working an Inverkeithing to Inverness Harry Potter filming special. Note the two missing windows in the leading coach, so the cameras got a clear view.
Some models that I created a while back for Megan Rothrock's Lego Adventure Book 2. Full instructions for both of the main models and the background buildings in the book.
The main vehicle is a revisit of my old Sludge Puppy.

This Blythe doll is Sarah Shades, posing for the theme “Leaving on a jet plane” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is scrapbooking paper that I think is so cute! I’m happy to have a chance to use it.
I’ve found it helps to look at challenges in life as adventures. While I love adventures that involve exploring, so many other things can bring it into our lives. Keeping the child inside of you alive, having an open mind, and being flexible are great ways to embrace the adventurous spirit. While I don’t always succeed with it during particularly challenging times, I do try to embrace this attitude as much as possible. It can certainly make a huge difference in how you feel about some situations!
