The leaves fall patiently
Nothing remembers or grieves
The river takes to the sea
The yellow drift of leaves.

Reminiscing hard on people and times gone by...I fully understand feeling set adrift on memory bliss.

I must give homage to Val ♥'s Blythe's CC and Princess Di-O-Rama's, as well... I'm sure it was their girls that influenced me to finally give my long waiting CC scalp a trim and find a royal head to set it upon!
Not sure if it will make it, however
Not a serious contender for Fenced Friday either, I just liked the mood :-)

Aimlessly, I float toward an undiscovered destination. Somewhere, I shall wash ashore.
Or, fade away with nothing more.
A fall experiment. This leaf was photographed on water. The bubbles were formed from a chemical reaction. This was captured with a single long exposure.

A blue world can always use a splash of red.
Image imagined in MidJourney AI and finished with Topaz Studio 2.0 and Lightroom Classic.
This fairway buoy, usually positioned at the mouth of Aberdeen Harbour to guide ships, came adrift and was swept on to Aberdeen beach after October’s storms. It became quite an attraction as people watched it bob and roll with the waves on the shore like a child’s bath toy. Maybe we’re easily amused!
this was taken from ricker pond on a recent visit to vermont. although we were there a bit past peak foliage, we still had fun and really got lucky this one morning for this shot.
i converted this to black and white simply because i love the layers and how the mist isolates the front trees from the background. there is quite some foliage color in the background but i feel b+w really suits this better. :)
soothing and peaceful the seahorse on the current it suits the delicate blues, don't you think?
