On our trip to Melbourne we discovered one full lane dedicated to the Australian super group ACDC. As you might expect it was a little wild looking.
Aurizon locomotives ACD6048 and 6058 curve out of Sunshine on Aurizon Intermodal Freighter 6BM1 from Brisbane to Melbourne.
Night shot of ACDC Lane in the Melbourne CBD. The overhead lights cast a bit of a sickly colour but this is the only time I have been into the city for a while so had to take the opportunity to get this shot as you never know if the artwork will be there on the next visit.
Batteur d'AC/DC, Tom Jones, Olivia Newton John, Manfred Mann's earth band, Hurria Heep, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), The Firm (Avec Jimmy Page et Paul Rodgers), Gary Moore, Asia, Michael Schenker (Scorpions) ... bref un Batteur de légende !

A fantastic group of Musicians, picture drawn after listening to Video last night. Black and white pencil on black card by jmsw.
I remember going to see AC/DC back in 1980. The Back in Black tour. I don’t think people had mobile phones back then. Not that mobile phones are phones anymore. But that’s progress for you. Glad to see Angus Young still wears shorts at 60 years of age, though. Some things should never change.
I was caught In the middle of a railroad track
And I knew there was no turning back
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you
Sound of the drums
Beatin' in my heart
The thunder of guns
Tore me apart
You've been - thunderstruck

ACDC Lane is a street in Melbourne, Victoria. It is a short, narrow laneway, running south from Flinders Lane between Exhibition Street and Russell Street in the central business district of Melbourne. The street was formerly called Corporation Lane, but was renamed on 1 October 2004 as a tribute to Australian rock band AC/DC. The Melbourne City Council's vote to rename the street was unanimous.
