No creo que sea uno de los originales, muchas copias se han hecho, pero se mantiene fiel al concepto original. Los orígenes del mito de los 60 se hunden en los inicios de los 50 cuando un joven aristócrata anglo-lusitano, Tojeiro, crea un deportivo basado en el motor de origen BMW de la Bristol. Los dueños de la AC, una casa británica con mucha solera, lo ven en un salón del automóvil y le compran el diseño. Pocos Tojeiros existen pero bastantes más unidades de los AC Ace, y su derivado Aceca, se fabricaron. A principios de los 60 aparece el tejano Carroll Shelby quien colabora con AC para unir su deportivo con el motor V8 de la Ford. El resto es historia o leyenda.
