El 22 de septiembre de 2019 tuvo lugar en el Puig de Santa María su 2ª Concentración de Coches Clásicos.
Y allí estuvimos. La mayoría de coches en una explanada, unos al lado de los otros, gente por todos los lados y siendo un día soleado, bastantes reflejos de luz sobre los vehículos.
Aún así, intentamos obtener la imagen de algún vehículo bonito o interesante. En este caso se trata de un AC COBRA 427 (periodo 1962-1966, según Wikipedia) y que, como siempre, presentamos editado con el GIMP.

On September 22, 2019, took place in Puig de Santa María its 2nd Classic Car Concentration.
And there we were. The majority of cars in an esplanade, next to each other, people from all sides and being a sunny day, many light reflections on the vehicles.
Even so, we try to get the image of some beautiful or interesting vehicle. In this case it is an AC COBRA 427 (period 1962-1966 according to Wikipedia) and that, as always, we present edited with the GIMP.
Popped into the Great British Car Journey, a new classic car venue on the A6 in between Ambergate and Whatstandwell Derbyshire. It’s a great collection of autos. This one is an AC Bristol circa 1950

The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the UK and later the USA since 1962. This 1988 AC Cobra, TVV 213, was seen near Bibury in Gloucestershire.
I recently had been going through my archives looking for some other photos when I stumbled upon some previously unedited images that I had set aside to edit. So I did a few quick edits and will hopefully be presenting these images over the next several days. This is another of those photos.
I no longer remember what was the context for this image. According to my notes, this was taken somewhere in Shabbona, IL along the BNSF Aurora Sub. I do not know if that is correct. I am sure I have the correct context in my notes somewhere. Based on the date on the photo, I think this is more a case of a detail shot of an SD70MAC in Executive/Grinstein Green that was being held awaiting a new crew on the BNSF Chillicothe Sub.
Whatever the case, this is a B&W closeup of an AC traction motor taken in November 2014.

Dutch entrepreneur Frans van Haren has a classic car collection that has won prizes at prestigious national and international competitions. Since 2017, he has been presenting his impressive car collection to a wider audience in the futuristic-looking, former furniture showroom 'Metropole' in Druten, the Netherlands.
The collection includes some four hundred cars, trucks and motorcycles, making it almost the largest car museum in the Netherlands.
