Today we organized Zaynah's toys!

Each toy has its own musical sound. And you know what the magic is?

At night, when everyone is sleeping, they come out of the box and make music together. They dance and sing, all night long and if everybody wakes up, they go back in the box!

Many thanks to all who takes the time to view, comment and fave my pictures!

For Flickr Friday #ABitOfOrder

Under the pear tree...

Thank you very much for your visits, comments and faves!

I did it! All of them! Now in the same drawer... in order!

Small containers ready to fill in an orderly manner. (This is not my style, except when filing RAW photos.)

Inspired by Flickr Friday for #ABitOfOrder this week. If you'd like to see a different focal point or horizontal layout, and feel irritated by my preference for shallow dof, ask and you might receive. My husband and I don't see eye to eye on photography. But he's good at landscape photography, using f/8 and smaller apertures ;)

Now to fill these containers in an orderly manner. (Tidy is not my middle name; how did Flickr Friday know?)

Thanks for your faves, comments, and just for looking. If you borrow this, please link back to this page ;)

The orderliness of these falls impressed me — the even rows of white for as far as you could see. I had to crawl out on a tree that had fallen over the water to get the view I wanted. The crashing water was so loud it drowned everything else out and made it easy to get lost in the moment.

These are bits from a tiny screwdriver set used for working on electronics. That makes this photo a macro, as well.

A bit of order here,please! :-)

75 by Waad Almujalli the artist was conveying a bit of order with all 75 faces in rows of 15 by 5 rows.

Just me together with the Sigma DP1 Quattro and a trazillion of Mosquitos. And the sunset. And all seems to have it's perfect weekend order already and is tidied up.

The Sigma is a lovely little camera, Id' buy one if I could afford it. But owning already to Nikon FX bodies and an older Sigma DP1x I would not be able to win the argument with my bank account ;)

"This week, for the Flickr Friday! challenge we want to see where you’ve gotten a bit of order in your life."

When I read the above description of this week's photo challenge, I was thrown into a panic. "A bit of order" ?? "In my life" ??? It doesn't exist! But I kept looking around and... found it. My wine glasses are always in neat rows (though perhaps there will be a gap or two when glasses are in use.)

One of those wonderful inventions, a contraption for hanging up ties…

The attic at my parents' has books from my youth. They used to be in order... My brother has taken some, I took others... Who will read them?

A bit of order

Praça do Rossio. Lisboa, Portugal.

My pens and pencils are kept tidy in a silver plated (the only silver left is on the base) cup dated 1880.

In the woods of the Ardennes near Abrefontaine.

A mixture of six unopened wine bottles on a wood and metal wine. The bottles and wine rack are covered in dust and cobwebs. Photographed for the Flickr Friday theme of A Bit of Order. Taken with a Fuji XT2 fitted with a Samyang 100mm f2.8 macro lens. The mottled brown backdrop was made by dying a decorator's cotton groundsheet.

Flickr Friday - A Bit of Order

I need to put a bit of order back into my life, so I will not be as active on Flickr over the next few months. I feel like I am getting pulled in too many different directions these days and that I have no time (watch with no time on display). Church (Bible), volunteering (name tag), and gardening/gleaning (raspberry and lavender) take up a good chunk of my time. We have such short summers in the Pacific Northwest, so I need to get outside (sunglasses) and take pictures (lens cap) while the sun shines. Literally! I will continue to post photos periodically and comment occasionally, but not as much as normal. If I figure out how to clone myself or function without sleep, I may be able to devote more time to Flickr. Have a great summer!

On the way to Dauphin island these guys all congregated at the rear of the ship. One stood out

Next to a selection of maps, are my diaries from years gone by... all in perfect order... almost.

N-Z from the general section of my collection. It used to be that only I could find a record in my rack. My wife made dividers for me as a Christmas gift. After spending two weeks sorting it all, now she and others can find what they are looking for a little easier. - If I would have thought about it a bit more I would have included my New Order collection. This starts up at the end of the "N"s.
