The Joker is a fictional character, a comic book supervillain published by DC Comics. He is the archenemy of Batman, having been directly responsible for numerous tragedies in Batman's life, including the paralysis of Barbara Gordon and the death of Jason Todd, the second Robin. Created by Jerry Robinson, Bill Finger and Bob Kane, the character first appeared in Batman #1 (Spring 1940).
Throughout his comic book appearances, the Joker is portrayed as a master criminal whose characterization has varied. The original and currently dominant image is of a highly intelligent psychopath with a warped, sadistic sense of humor, while other writers have portrayed him as an eccentric prankster. Similarly, throughout the character's long history, there have been several different origin tales; they most commonly depict him as falling into a tank of chemical waste, which bleaches his skin and turns his hair green and his lips bright red, giving him the appearance of a clown.

Finalmente eu consegui terminar esse projeto. Nossa, vocês não têm noção do quão aliviado que eu to agora postando esta última foto. Eu quero agradecer a todos que me acompanharam neste tempo com comentários, críticas (sempre construtivas), sugestões, favs, etc. Vocês são incríveis, falo isso do fundo do meu coração. Vocês me inspiram a continuar e a tentar crescer cada vez mais, podem ter certeza disso.
Quando eu pensei em começar esse projeto esta foi a primeira imagem que me veio na cabeça, sério mesmo. Meio que comecei de trás pra frente kk Enfim, ela saiu do jeitinho que eu tinha pensado e eu fiquei bastante feliz por isso :D
Espero muito que vocês tenham gostado das minhas imagens e que possam vir mais e mais projetos por ai (yn) Muuuuito obrigado!

MY FIRST TSURU.
Eu consegui aprender a fazer tsurus!!! =) Tá, eu sei que não parece ser dos mais bonitos, mas foi o primeiro que eu fiz, então me perdoem. Eu fiquei bastante feliz quando consegui porque tinha muita vontade de aprender.

Consegui fazer a foto para o Projeto ontem \o/
Então, que minha câmera quebrou não é mais novidade, mas o melhor pior vocês não sabem: eu vou ter que mandá-la pra outra cidade pra tentar concertar (Y) O que aconteceu com ela foi que o zoom não quer abrir. Na verdade ele fica abrindo e fechando (kkkk) Eu, com meus super-conhecimentos, acho que é só sujeira, e tomara que eu esteje certo (yn)
É isso então. Estou feliz por que algumas amigas minhas passaram no vestibular (: Não vejo a hora de passar também -D

Eu nem to acreditando que eu to chegando ao fim deste projeto, sério mesmo. Com todos os contratempos ocorridos com minha câmera e afins e já estou na penúltima letra :O Muito obrigado por tudo que todos fazem por mim, do fundo do meu coração. Sobre mais de de meus sumiços... Eu estava trabalhando né, sim, estava. Agora eu não estou mais. Tive alguns problemas com horários dai eu tive que sair de lá. Como eu disse, foi uma experiência incrível, e eu gostei demais, mas não era pra ser. Agora eu pretendo voltar à normalidade aqui no Flickr e se Deus quiser arrumar outra câmera pra mim, já que a minha velha companheira já não tem mais concerto :(

Esses dias eu to completamente apaixonado por literatura, movimentos literários e afins. Acho que isso influenciou de certa forma na minha cabeça, por que eu to conseguindo me expressar melhor e ando criando algumas frases e alguns desenhos também :O KKKKK Isso está sendo bom (pelo menos pra mim) e espero que continue assim!

Hago un pequeño saltito en el proyecto Abc para jugar un ratillo con un pequeño xilófono que compramos precisamente para la foto, pero que a partir del sábado podrá disfrutar mi sobrinito :)
Después de varias tomas y puntos de vista me quedo con esta, y es que pensé que sería más fácil que me gustase alguna :P
Ahora toca dar un pasito atrás... a pensar alguna palabra que empiece por W y poder sacarle partido para el proyecto... miedo me da ainsss

Okay, so I promised epic. I guess I should have clarified, I hope you're not too disappointed. While this may not fit the typical definition of epic, and it is certainly not a photographic masterpiece,
this picture is unequivocally me. Beyond words. If you know me, you would look at this picture and just shake your head because it's just so Kathryn.
I'd like to introduce you to two of my favourite things in the entire world. Giraffes (we'll get to that later) and one of my 2 lovely Guinea Pigs. :) This is Boo, the other is Peek (Peek-a-Boo, get it?!) but Peek is a turdface and won't sit still. Boo is the good one.
Secret 22: I am a Giraffe-a-holic. No joke.
I flipping love giraffes. You don't even know. And I have an incredibly extensive giraffe collection, ranging from stuffed giraffes (a small portion of which you can see in this photo) to a giraffe calendar, giraffe lip balm, a giraffe kettle, a giraffe mug collection, giraffe finger puppets, a giraffe change purse and ... more. If I had the largest giraffe collection in the world, I would be the happiest girl in the universe.
If you love giraffes we can be best friends.
(I guess we can still be best friends even if you don't love giraffes.)
ooooi gente! É, a foto do Projeto saiu um pouquinho atrasada hehe Mas foi porque eu cheguei de viagem domingo à noite e não deu pra fazer a foto, daí tive que tirá-la ontem mesmo. Eu gostei DEMAIS do resultado dela e espero mesmo que vocês gostem também!
Prometo que vou fazer o máximo pra não atrasar de novo (: Mas é que essa semana eu vou pra casa da minha prima, a mesma prima que eu fui semana passada então... provavelmente a próxima foto do Projeto vai sair na terça também "/ Enfim, eu espero que depois volte tudo ao normal :D

Part of the ABC project
I think it's clear what I've chosen seeing as I already had a condom I could use for this photo. The ring could represent a wedding ring or a TLW ring. It's actually a wedding ring that I inherited, and I felt like I was commiting some kind of blasphemy when I used it for this. I would never want the previous owner to know how I used this ring. She was very Catholic.
Organisations such as True Love Waits are hugely popular and well-known in the US, and have made a teeny tiny dent (more like a fingerprint impression) in the UK. I was briefly interested in TLW when I was around 13, but the more I learned about it the more crazy it seemed to me - especially the part about not teaching children safe sex and only allowing them to learn about abstinence. Don't people see what a risk they're putting children and teenagers in? Aren't they realistic enough to know that not all teenagers who take the pledge are going to keep it? Shouldn't they know about how to protect themselves????!!!!
I can get quite angry about this stuff sometimes. I know one girl at my school who says that she does consider not having sex before marriage and that it's a nice idea, but she's not sure if she will or not. That's as close as I've got in England to finding anyone who has these beliefs. I think it goes down to how religious America (particularly middle-America) is. Personally, I find it crazy that 80% of American's believe in Creationism. I know three people in England who do. My ex-boyfriend was a Jehovah's witness and talked to me a lot about creationism, so I have considered both sides of the argument and was open-minded about learning and considering both sides. He wasn't.
A new analysis of data, collected by the federal government's National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health, and published in Pediatrics, shows chastity commitments made by teens don't seem to work.
The researchers gathered detailed information from 11,000 students in grades 7 through 12 and followed them over time. They matched students on 100 variables and then compared those who took the virginity pledge with those that did not take a pledge in 1996. It didn't matter if they took the pledge or not. By 2001, they found 82% of those who took the pledge had broken it. More than half of both groups had engaged in sexual activity and they had an average of 3 sexual partners whether they took the chastity pledge or not. No difference!
They did find one difference, however. Unfortunately the kids who took the pledge were less likely to use a condom or any other form of contraception.
It's about time to re-look at government funded abstinence programs. It has already been shown that 80% of the curricula used in these programs provide distorted information about birth control and STDs with scientific errors and blurring of religion and science.
AND
". . . many teens find it hard to resist the temptation of sex shortly after they take their pledge, and because of their lack of knowledge about safe-sex methods, teens who break their pledges are one-third less likely than non-pledgers to use contraceptives once they do become sexually active.
"Statistically kids who pledge abstinence are just as likely to have sex as those that don't, and more likely to contract an STD because they have not taken the time to learn about STD prevention," Riera says.
Even though she is well aware of the disheartening statistics, Rosales still has faith in virginity pledges and their impact on teens.
"In my case I've overcome the statistics and haven't broken my pledge," she says. "But even if a purity ring helps a girl put off sex for just a couple of years, I think it still accomplishes something."
I'm probably going to get a lot of stick for this and I can see people commenting on this photo without thinking about both sides of the argument. I have met people and experienced things with them that have truly forced me to think about these issues, and draw my own conclusions. You don't have to agree with me at all, just THINK before you yell at me. I want my ABC project to make people think about things they may not want to.
