Designing for iPad has distinct advantages over conventional web design. Most significantly, you know precisely how your layout will be rendered - no guessing about screen resolution, or varying amounts of browser chrome, or available font faces.
ABC took things a step further and elminated what is really the only variable a designer need consider in this medium by limiting their interface to portrait mode. Cunning. In this way, designing for iPad is a lot like designing for print. Enough to bring some print designers into the digital fold? Probably not.

This little fellow was found in a cardboard box just before the box was loaded onto a conveyor which drops material into a machine which bales recycling goods.
