Evocación poético-fluvial a la vista del Río Aar (Aare) a su paso por Berna, la capital de Suiza.
El Río Aar nace en los Glaciares del Aare (Alpes Suizo-Berneses) a unos 1.900 m de altitud. Pasa por Interlaken y Thun; se pasea tranquilamente por Berna –imagen que vemos en la foto presente- y desemboca en el gran Rin. Desde la ciudad de Thun, el Aar es navegable. Forma las famosas cataratas de Reichenbach.

Die Aare entspringt in den beiden Aargletschern in den östlichen Berner Alpen am Finsteraarhorn, westlich des Grimselpasses im zentralen Süden der Schweiz.
Unterhalb von Brugg nimmt sie die Reuss und die Limmat auf, bevor sie bei Koblenz (CH) in den Rhein mündet.

The Aar, a tributary of the High Rhine, is the longest river that both rises and ends entirely within Switzerland.
Its total length from its source to its junction with the Rhine comprises about 295 km (183 miles), during which distance it descends 1,565 m (5,135 ft), draining an area of 17,779 km2 (6,865 sq mi), including the whole of central Switzerland.
