MRS AAR tag
This is one of the "never ubiquitous in the first place" MRS ARR tags along The Manufacturers Railway south of downtown Saint Louis. Many of them were fastened to nearby utility poles just like this. Today there are three of these still on poles along a street that has not had trackage in many decades, and I believe one along Second Street where the tracks still exist, but have not been used in nearly fifteen years.
