Londres, 14 de agosto 2012 - Con la clausura de los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres 2012, adidas concluye de manera positiva su participación en el evento. "Nuestra presencia dentro y alrededor de los Juegos Olímpicos fue fantástica", dijo Herbert Hainer, CEO de adidas Group. "Hemos tenido récord de ventas en mercancía alusiva a los Juegos Olímpicos y representa un año con ventas históricas de adidas Group en el Reino Unido sentando las bases para que alcanzar el liderazgo en dicho mercado en 2015.
Las ventas en el Reino Unido para la marca adidas tuvieron un incremento de 24% en tipo de cambio neutral durante el primer semestre de 2012, impulsado por la demanda de productos olímpicos y del equipo de GB. En Reino Unido las ventas de los productos elaborados bajo la licencia Olímpica tuvieron un incremento del 250% en comparación con Beijing 2008. A nivel global, las ventas de adidas Group crecieron un 11%, con base en tipo de cambio neutral, es decir 16% y en términos absolutos en €7.3 mil millones de euros para el primer semestre de 2012...

A creature is spun into a thin but strong white cocoon. Some time is needed to pull a small hole in the top of this tight and flexible envelope. Slowly extricating from the cocoon the blue shiny skin of the creature is getting visible. After this process the molting of the blue skin starts and unveil another black second skin which will be segregated in third sloughing process. In the final status the pure white main skin gets visible.
