Whenever Piper yells a lot or acts silly Pants always gives me a look like this is all your doing.
My side of the family is loud.
We like to drink, listen to good music, behave ridiculously and stay up all night sitting by a bonfire.
AND WE ARE LOUD.
While Pant's mom and stepfather were in town we took them to my dad's for a craw-fish boil. It was his 54th birthday and he was in party mode. Meaning he was tossing beer bottles into trashcans just to hear them break and shooting propane from a tank directly into the fire pit. What? It worked.
The fire was going in about two seconds.
At one point I took Piper inside to change her into her swimsuit so we could get in the pool. She let out a yell so piercing that it even made her jump. Then she clapped and laughed her butt off because she had just STARTLED HERSELF. I was cracking up too.
That's when I noticed Pants had followed me inside and he was looking at us both laughing like we'd lost our minds. He was all "The crazy definitely comes from your side of the family."
But he'll be the first to admit that he loves our kind of crazy.
And my dad? He's the craziest of us all.
Piper's going to love him :)
Her belly was very good at leaving prints from whatever touched it. Oh and don't mind the backpack in the back, haha.
Colby really enjoys getting brushed. He will lay on my lap or right next to me while I brush him. He's such a good boy.
A good friend of mine is about to have her first baby, and I am so excited!! She is 2 days overdue and very ready to have this baby. She came over yesterday to talk and get out of the house, and while we were talking I thought, WE NEED TO TAKE SOME PICTURES!!! My kids were taking naps and I hadn't thought of any ideas in advance, so I had to steal one!!:) I saw the picture in my comments below on flick a month or so ago and loved it, so...
