The Dalmatian Pelican is the largest member of the pelican family. Taken at the San Diego Safari Park. I love their hairdo!

Happy Caturday theme 8 February 2020: "Containers." Pepper pauses before investigating the new cooler, which goes well with his color scheme. He did actually sit in the top and look into the bottom for a brief while but I didn't like those photos as well. Happy Caturday everyone. (I just realized - his 10th birthday was 2 days after this was taken.)

The Brant is a goose I occasionally see at our coastal wetlands in the winter as it nests to the north, in the western Arctic. I think this gang (there were plenty more) is the most I've seen, and definitely in the nicest light. I remember on one sighting I was shooting after sundown, but excited to see them. I think they're very dapper looking and handsome.
