Spoonbills always garner attention and this one landed was no exception. I did have to remove the rude fellow occupying the next rock over who rudely crowded into my frame. Oh well. These guys are doing their seasonal nesting in earnest and hopefully will produce a generous number of chicks. They are colonial nesters and don’t seem to squabble much, each finding a niche to build their nest and raise their brood. I’m hoping to get some more opportunities with them this season.
