2 min. @f4, 200 ISO.... Light Orbs..... orbs like these have been photographed numerous times in Australia, New Zealand, U.K., many European countries and the US, but this is first time I have seen them here in Canada..... these Light Orbs are quite elusive and it has been said they can only be photographed by night photographers.... these 2 were poorly formed as it was there first appearance.....
today is our 41 anniversary, so we did something we both enjoy, night photography till 3 am :)
This photograph was taken in the Swiss town of Vilters as we traveled toward Austria.

The municipality is in the Sarganserland Wahlkreis, Switzerland. It is located near a major expressway, near the mouth of the village stream into the Rhine river. It consists of the villages of Vilters and Wangs. Until 1996 Vilters-Wangs was known as Vilters.
Boreal Owl
This little guy hit the front living room window. I heard the thud, but didn't know what it was. Then I noticed the mischief of magpies hovering over him and waiting for him to die. I found him under a tree in front. I managed to pick him up in a towel and took him to a wild animal rescue centre. I found out a few days later that he recovered and was released.
