YEAH more Albion coverage.
XR559-X50-BL26 are seen hauling 24 empty VHAF grain wagons as #9611V from the Agents Sidings in North Dynon to 3 road at McIntyre. These wagons had been sitting in whats known as "K Track" in North Dynon where regular maintenance is done. The siding is used by both PN & Aurizon.
Having finished work at 5am & spending the whole night dicking around with trains in North Dynon I can assure you coverage was the last thing on my mind. That changed when I woke up to a tip off from a colleauge, saying that PN was putting their wagons together to take to McIntyre.
I subsequently rolled out of bed & hit the road armed with my recently reactivated drone & camera with a single bar of battery left on it. My plan was just to shoot this train but I ended up staying out till sunset capturing 8 trains in total.
For those interested they were 9611V, 9342, 7922V, 3WM7, 3MB9, 9345, 9305 & 3MB4. Not a bad effort for a place notorious for having a lack of freight traffic.
