Les discussions enflammées autour de "la dette" reprennent de plus belle. Mais cette dette est absolument virtuelle. Elle est conventionnelle, contractuelle. Elle n'a d'existence que parce que nous le décidons. Tout au contraire, la dette écologique est réelle, factuelle, matérielle : elle ne peut être annulée par décision. Elle tue au quotidien. Elle est la dette sérieuse. Comment est-il possible qu'elle nous obsède infiniment moins que sa consœur économique purement factice ?

Another Bald Eagle pic from a few days ago. I have enough interaction on this beautiful story that it just makes me want to write my own captions. So, the mamma eagle had just done a giant double wing stretch. I think the little eaglets were in awe, maybe wondering if they can do that too when they get big and strong. "See, it's kindof like Mom's - what do you think?" And mom is thinking, "Sigh, they've just learned to poop outside the nest." (Looked like she'd taken a shot or two on one of her wings in another image.)
