In Snæfellsnes

Djúpalónssandur is one of the many fishing stadions in Snæfellsnes, without a whole year inhabitation.

The fishermen came in Jauary from west, south and north Iceland. Farmers and workers leaving the farms in the hands of women and children for the wather-hardest months.

The winter fishing season (ironically named spring fishing season) is from mid january till mid may.
