Et nous, individus, nous, humanité, dépendons totalement des ivresses, fureurs et cruautés de ces monstres ouraniens. Le sort de la planète est entre leurs mains. C’est bien des États-nations que vient la menace suprême qui pèse et sur les individus en tant qu’individus (l’aliénation totalitaire) et sur l’humanité en tant qu’humanité (l’anéantissement total).

In the early 1990's, Union Pacific and Santa Fe teamed up to deliver coal from the Powder River Basin in Wyoming to a Power Plant located in Amarillo, Texas. This had been a Burlington Northern-Santa Fe contract for years.
Seen here is Union Pacific C41-8 9507 leading a pair of Warbonnet C40-8W's, the 823 and 830 up track #4 out of Cheyenne headed to Speer Jct. in May of 1994.
The three GE's were not quite enough power to lift the train up the grade out of Cheyenne so a pair of SD40-2's that were normally used as local/switcher power was borrowed to shove the train up to Speer. The headlights of the pushers are barely visible at the rear of the train.
