STS094-362-009 (1-17 July 1997) --- Payload specialist Gregory T. Linteris performs operations at the Droplet Combustion Experiment (DCE). One of several combustion experiments flown, DCE examines combustion of fuel droplets. Fuel droplets are an important part of the many day to day operations such as heating furnaces for materials processing both on the ground and in space. The improved fundamental understanding of droplet combustion may also contribute to the clean and safe utilization of fossil fuels. Linteris communicates with ground-based experimenters on who are observing images which are downlinked from internal video and ultraviolet intensified cameras.

AS15-94-12846 (August 1971) --- A westward looking telephoto lens view of the Littrow complex area in the eastern edge of the Sea of Serenity on the lunar nearside, as seen from the Apollo 15 spacecraft in lunar orbit. The crater Littrow is at lower right. Littrow B is the bright crater near the center of the picture. The "Cinder Cone" area, as sighted by Apollo 15 command module pilot Alfred M. Worden, is located generally in a semi-circular pattern around Littrow B.
