Walt Disney World Resort
Magic Kingdom
Tomorrowland
While I enjoy the neon aesthetic of Walt Disney World's current Tomorrowland, one of my recent kicks is looking at photos of the old Tomorrowland aesthetic. Perhaps because my vision of the future aligns with that of a 70s-era Kubrick film, I still think the sterile and clean lines of old Tomorrowland looks amazing.
At least one Magic Kingdom-style park still has that Tomorrowland aesthetic!

Cousin Tanisha being a boss on the way to Iron Man 3. Which, by the way, is fantastic.
Hope everyone had a great labor day :)

I arrived about 5 minutes too late for a beautifully dramatic sky. The kind you're staring at while stuck at a stoplight, contemplating the consequences of running the light vs. the reward of catching the sunset. Needless to say, I didn't hazard any lives in the making of this photograph. This is the still-frozen Missouri River and the I-94 bridge in Bismarck, ND.

Well, if only this little guy had turned around, he would have made my day! I have only ever caught fleeting glimpses of these shy little birds, but this one spent a few minutes hopping around a pine tree on the edge of our campsite. I hadn't anticipated photographing birds so my camera settings were all wrong. The first few shots were a blur and as I fumbled with the camera I hoped he'd hang around long enough for me to get at least one shot. His distinctive gold crest is only just visible and...well...he does have a cute little bum!
