Left Seaside for Tillamook, today. Started out nice and sunny, but ended up in a torrential storm, 25 mph headwind, and a flat 5 miles from my destination!
Soaked and cold. Definitely my worst day so far.

De lange zomervakantie van mijn zonen door examen in het vorige schooljaar en late start in het nieuwe schooljaar moest deels gevuld worden met activiteiten. Dit leverde een tweedaagse trip op naar Luxemburg met één van de twee.
Het idee was om elke spoorlijn in het hertogdom af te gaan wat grotendeels gelukt is.
Door de vele kilometers die werden afgelegd was er niet specifiek tijd om foto's te maken maar de camera kwam toch regelmatig uit de tas. De nacht werd doorgebracht in een mooi appartement in Walferdange.
In de avond werd bij aankomst op het station komend uit Luxembourg even gewacht op de trein naar Luxembourg in de hoop op een setje serie 2000. Dat een Alstom Coradia Duplex ook best wat sfeer kan opleveren toont deze foto. Het rode licht in de cabine is wel een grappig detail en heeft hiermee wat weg van een gepimpte vrachtwagen cabine of zo u wil een hoerenkast :-)
