To provide some scale on how big the giant tortoises of Galapagos are. This is my son - a large 14 year old (almost 6ft tall) in an old shell. Fits him quite well!
I miss mah AEK-933 ( my attempt of AEK - 971 , fyi ) so I decided to fix it , with different stock , gas tube , sight and better GL :P
This is the remains of the quarry in Kiama. Great for shots at either sunset or sunrise - this was taken at sunset during a big swell and I was lucky enough to get some nice cloud.
With the long exposure effect, I thought I'd try it out, in the day time...
933 was new to Lothian Buses as 922 in 2009.
Thirty-seven ALCo 'World' diesel electrics were delivered to the South Australian Railway between 1955 and 1967, the first six being single-enders while the remainder were dual cab.
In August 1985, 933 had the dubious honour of being the first of the class to be withdrawn; three years earlier on 7 August 1982 it was seen at the head of a broad gauge Adelaide to Port Pirie goods at the wayside halt of Redhill.

CT4Ns network saw a bit of a shake up this weekend, seeing the Centrelink, Locallink L3, L6, L7, Shopper S43 and Worklink W2 all go, with some other routes amalgamated to cover the ones going. New Shopper services have been launched too, including the S11 which replaces the L11 between Bulwell and Arnold, but with an extension through to Mapperley via the Plains Estate!!
