U.S. Route 93 is a major north–south United States highway in the western United States. At the request of the Arizona State Highway Department, the AASHO route numbering committee approved another extension of US 93 in 1935. This shifted the southern terminus south to Kingman, Arizona, by way of Las Vegas.

Op 30 april 2022 vond de eerste rit van het jaar georganiseerd door de vereniging EBFL uit Lienz plaats. De uitverkochte trein reed vanuit Lienz naar de grensplaats Rosenbach aan de Karawankenbahn, van waaruit de rijtuigen verder werden gereden naar Ferlach door stoomloc 93.1332 van de vereniging Nostalgiebahnen in Kärnten (NBiK). In Ferlach werd door het grote gezelschap (de rit was uitverkocht) naast een geslaagde lunch een bezoek gebracht aan het plaatselijke techniekmuseum.
Door een relatief klein defect aan de eigen loc 1010.18 moest kort voor de rit een beroep worden gedaan op loc 1010.10 die zeker niet misstond voor de trein!
Op de foto is loc 93.1332 van de NBiK samen met de EBFL rijtuigen te zien in Ferlach waar de trein vertrekgereed staat voor de terugreis naar Rosental. 30 april 2022

I took a nostalgic walk today that I'd wanted to do on New Year's Eve, but the land was flooded then.
It was about re-connecting with my younger self when I lived and worked in this area, today taking familiar paths and finding new ones.
A sushi bar was not what I was expecting to find on the Grand Union canal. I also found a meditation retreat.

A Providence and Worcester highrail truck lurks in the shadows in the foreground as a track inspector takes measurements as he inspects the ladder in Cranston Yard headed toward the Harbor Junction Running Track.
Meanwhile over across the yard Amtrak Regional train 93 from Boston to Norfolk peels into view around the curve on Main 1 here at about MP 180.3 on Amtrak's New Haven Line.
